April 30  -  Friday
Chandler Park
7:00 pm
The Sabbat celebration will begin at 7:00 pm.  However, if you have the time, bring a picnic lunch for yourself and come at 6:00 pm.  Visit and enjoy the company of others of like mind.

Tulsa Public Sabbats are sponsored by Gloria Dialectic.  They are a celebration of the Eight Turnings of the Wheel of the Year.  From Ostara to Samhain the Sabbats are held outdoors in Chandler Park.  Yule and Imbolc are held indoors, due to the weather, at The Church of the Restoration.  All faiths arriving in peace and love are welcome.  There are no fees associated with these events.  They are completely Free.  Below you will find the times and locations of the events.  Directions will also be listed.  If the weather is inclement call Gloria at 747-5166 to find out if the location has been changed.

Chandler Park
Go to 23rd and Southwest Blvd by going west across the 21st Street bridge or using Highway 75 (from 244, follow signs to OKC to Southwest Blvd exit). At the light, go west on 23rd. Follow the curving road to a Tee at a factory. Turn left and continue till you see a bluff on your left with the words "Chandler Park" picked out in white stone on the slope. Turn left onto the road that runs by the park and then right into the park. Go straight, and enter the upper park level. Go past the swimming pool and shelter houses. Turn left at a low wooden sign which says "Pedestrians Have the Right of Way." A short distance up that road is the flat, grassy area, at the top of a hill where the Scottish Games are held. This is the place.

If you need to contact someone about directions or have any questions regarding the Sabbat Celebrations you may email Gloria.

A rabbi, a Unitarian Universalist minister, and a Wiccan priestess decided to go on a fishing trip together. They went down to their local lake, rented a boat, and went out on to the lake for a day of fishing.

As the afternoon approached, the trio got hungry and realized that they left their lunches on the shore of the lake.

The minister got out of the boat, walked across the lake, got his lunch, walked back, and sat down to eat his lunch.

"You should have gotten all of our lunches!" scolded the priestess. She then got up, walked across the lake, picked up her lunch as well as the rabbi's, walked back across the lake, and sat down, handing the rabbi his afternoon meal.

The rabbi at this point is almost out of his mind, his eyes wide with shock. He manages to sputter, "Wha... what... how did you...?"

The minister grins at the priestess, nudges her, and asks "Do you think we should tell him about the rocks?"

The priestess looks at the minister, raises an eyebrow, and replies "What rocks?"

I am the harmonious tune of the songbird
And the laughter of a gleeful child.
I am the bubbling sound of the running brook
And the scent of the flowers wild.
I am the floating leaf upon the breeze
And the dancing fire in the forest glade.
I am the sweet smell of rains upon the soil
And the rapture of passion when love is made.

I am the germination of seed in the Spring
And the ripening of wheat in the Sun.
I am the peaceful depth of the twilight
That soothes the soul when day is done.

I am found in the twinkling of an aged eye...
And found in the birth of a newborn pup...
Yes...Birth and Growth and Death, am I
I am the gracious Earth, on whom you sup.

I am your sister, your mother, the wise one.
I wrap you gently in the warmth of my love.
That which you seek you shall find within:
Not without...not below...not above!

Remember always, my children, be reverent
Be gentle, loving and kind to each other
And hold sacred the Earth and its creatures
For I am the Lady, Creatrix and Mother!

» Which Magical Order Are You In?

I found this little quiz and thought I would share.

Which Magical Order Are You In?

» Ok, I have a Q?
I have read in many different books two different things.

Ok the Knife and the wand.

In one book I've read the knife is for air and the wand is for fire. In a different book I've read it the other way around. I want to know what you all think.

I think the knife would be fire because you have to make it IN fire. and the Wand would be air because it's made for a tree and that grows up into the air. Also insense is burned to show air from the smoke and if wood is burn it smokes...

What do you all think?
» The 13 Principles of Wicca
The following set of thirteen principles was adopted by the Council of
American Witches, in April, 1974.

1. We practice rites to attune ourselves with the natural rhythm of
life forces marked by the phases of the Moon and the seasonal Quarters
and Cross Quarters.
2. We recognize that our intelligence gives us a unique
responsibility toward our environment. We seek to live in harmony with
Nature, in ecological balance offering fulfillment and consciousness
within an evolutionary concept.
3. We acknowledge a depth of power far greater than that apparent to
the average person. Because it is far greater than ordinary it is
sometimes called supernatural, but we see it as lying within that which
is naturally potential to all.
4. We conceive of the Creative Power in the universe as manifesting
through polarity ~as masculine and feminine~ and that this same Creative
Power lies in all people, and functions through the interaction of the
masculine and feminine. We value neither above the other, knowing each
to be supportive to each other. We value sex as pleasure, as the symbol
and embodiment of life, and as one of the sources of energies used in
magickal practice and religious worship.
5. We recognize both outer worlds and inner, or psychological,
worlds sometimes known as the Spiritual World, the Collective
Unconscious, Inner Planes, etc. ~and we see in the interaction of these
two dimensions the basis for paranormal phenomena and magickal
exercises. We neglect neither dimension for the other, seeing both as
necessary for our fulfillment.
6. We do not recognize any authoritarian hierarchy, but do honor
those who teach, respect those who share their greater knowledge and
wisdom, and acknowledge those who have courageously given of themselves
in leadership.
7. We see religion, magick, and wisdom in living as being united in
the way one views the world and lives within it ~a world view and
philosophy of life which we identify as Witchcraft~ The Wiccan Way.
8. Calling oneself "Witch" does not make a Witch, but neither does
heredity itself, not the collecting of titles, degrees, and initiations.
A Witch seeks to control the forces within her/himself that make life
possible in order to live wisely and well without harm to others and in
harmony with Nature.
9. We believe in the affirmation and fulfillment of life in a
continuation of evolution and development of consciousness giving
meaning to the Universe we know and our personal role within it.
10. Our only animosity towards Christianity, or towards any other
religion or philosophy of life, is to the extent that its institutions
have claimed to be "the only way", and have sought to deny freedom to
others and to suppress other ways of religious practice and belief.
11. As American {Or World-Wide!} Witches, we are not threatened by
debates on the history of the Craft, the origins of various terms, the
legitimacy of various aspects of different traditions. We are concerned
with our present and our future.
12. We do not accept the concept of absolute evil, nor do we worship
any entity known as Satan or the Devil, as defined by the Christian
tradition. We do not seek power through the sufferings of others, nor
accept that personal benefit can be derived only by denial to another.
13. We believe that we should seek within Nature that which is
contributory to our health and well-being.

» Greetings!
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law;

Helllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooo everyoneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Hahaha sorry too much finding Nemo.. I forget to introduce myself.
I am a fiend who goes by the name of Dannibas, Dan or simply Jesus(666). I am an extremely blasphmous, intelligent and unfortunate creature who dwells in the myriad outskirts of nothingness, or in Owasso. I work most of my days and spend my nights thinking thinking thinking! Right now, pardon, you will have to excuse me as I am unusually energetic after this last infusion of chemicals to my poor, hole rattled brain.

I have great interest in the occult, particularly that regarding Islamic Mysticism, Qabbalah, and mayhaps freemasonry. I'm a particular fan of Crowley, the prince of intelligent blasphomy (gosh bless him), though I have not made much of a concerted effort to put to practice any studies regarding the occult, persay... my experience with the mind is limited to basic urban-shamanism utilizing sacred medicines.

It's good to see folks here from Tulsa..
Feel free to add me, as long as you do not find the recreational/spiritual use of drugs or altered states offensive.
Love is the law, love under will.
